Holistic Health with Christina Anania

Christina Anania is a RHN and Certified Life Coach in the Holistic Health world. She says that holistic wellness is to help guide an individual on healing their own body, mind and spirit. “It taps into different realms of healing and brings them together to heal the individual as a whole.” The purpose of it is to open up to multiple possibilities of healing and remembering that we all have an innate wisdom within to heal ourselves. “I started to get involved in this type of wellness back in 2014 when I began my own holistic healing journey.” She suffered with anxiety and gut health issues from a very young age and the holistic route took her deeper on her healing journey. “I now take an integrative approach implementing the healings of western medicine and alternative medicine.”

She began the journey of helping others in 2014 after many years of trying to heal though western medical services. “I learned that there was more to healing than what was offered and when I took the holistic route I started seeing major shifts in my healing process.” She started with holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where she earned her Holistic Nutrition diploma and then decided to take her Life Coaching certificate at Rhodes Wellness College where she learned to dig deep with ones thoughts, beliefs and emotions.

Christina is also an anxiety coach. Her favorite part about being an anxiety coach is holding space for those who are going through it and guide them to the light at the end of the tunnel. “I love seeing my clients have those “ah-ha” moments when the lightbulb gets flicked on again and they begin to trust that they can heal themselves, is one of the most beautiful moments of the journey I can be on with my clients.” The most difficult for her is not trying to provide too much information at once. “I find that when we are in the midst of healing it is important to start with the basics.”

Being a holistic healer involves viewing the person as a whole…body, mind and spirit integration, and getting to the root cause of once concern. “There is so much more to an individual than the physical aspect. We have to remind ourselves that we have a mental, physical and energetic body as well.”

In five years, Christina would like to have a bigger online platform where she can help a large group of individuals reclaim their power and heal themselves. “I would like to have accomplished an online program which involves integrative healing that combines holistic health and other resources that can heal the body, mind and spirit.”

She would also love to have her own consulting office and healing centre either in her home town Winnipeg, MB or somewhere in the British Columbia.
